H&M Beauty Hual

Bloglovin

I recently went to H&M store in Oxford Street and I got some products and review to share with you. I know that H&M beauty launched since the end of last year yet I haven’t heard many reviews about if, however, I also hear many good reviews about them. At first, I didn’t expect that they will have that many products but when I see the beauty section I was so surprised. They cover all makeup categories from primer, base, mascara, eye pencils that come in many different colours, eye shadow stick etc. and also they do skincare such as shower cream, body lotion, hand wash etc. I have to say that I’m very impressed. Another thing that I really like about is the packaging, they look very luxurious even though it is made from plastic and very sleek which is good for travelling. Another important thing is they are very affordable so, worth trying them out if you haven’t yet.

overall

Alright, with no further talking, I will go through the items that I’ve bought in no particular order.

eye shadow

from left to right: Griege of Innocent / Sun Worship

High Impact Eye colour (2 g.) – Greige of Innocent, Sun Worship

+ The texture of the single eye shadow is really good. It’s smooth and blends beautifully.

+ To make it long lasting, I would suggest you to use with a good eye primer.

– I also tried to swatch their eye shadow palettes but I found that the colours are not as pigmented as the single ones.

brow pencil

from left to right: Caramel Brown / Espresso Brown

Brown Specialist (1.08 g.) – Caramel Brown, Espresso Brown

When I was picking this, I was quite unsure about the colour so I picked 2 of them and it turns out that I like them both!

+ The pencil comes with a spoolie brush on the other end.

+ Has creamy consistency which is easy to blend.

– The brush is very hard.

– If you want a very precise shape or line  for your brow you may have to sharpen the pencil very often.

– Since it’s not a twist up type of products, you do need a sharpener.

face powder

from left to right: Natural Bronze / Brown Sugar / Tawny Peach

Solar Flair Bronzing Powder (8 g.) – Natural Bronze

I have to say that I’m quite new to bronzer because I have pale skin with yellow tone so, I feel like whenever I put on bronzer, I will look a bit tired and not so fresh. So, if any of you could give me a king advice on how to apply bronzer that wouldn’t make your face looks overly done PLEASE leave me a comment!

+ Easily blend & smooth

+ Very pigmented

Pure Radiance Powder Blusher (5 g.) – Brown Sugar, Tawny Peach

These 2 colours are very similar yet I love them both and couldn’t decide so, I grabbed them both!

+ Pigmented and buildable

+ Smooth

– Some colours might be too similar

lip colour

from left to right: Sea Shell / Have a Heart / The stain of Have a Heart

Gossamer Lip Satin (4 ml.) – Have a Heart

+ It’s seriously stain! even I used a micellar water to clean, I had to rub quite a lot.

+ The smell is sweet. Doesn’t smell like chemical.

+ All you have to do is apply it on your lip, allow it to stay for a bit, pad the excess off (if you want a natural effect),  top it with a gloss and then you’re ready to go!

– Only few colours selection.

Cream Lip Colour (3.5 g.) – Sea Shell

+ Very creamy

+ Many colours selection

+ Perfect for everyday look

Sleeping Mask (10 ml.) – Pomegranate & Mango, Manuka honey, Aloe & Yarrow, Cucumber & Aloe, Raspberry Leaf

I haven’t tried any of the masks yet but the staff told me that they’re really good. Another thing I like about sleeping mask is you can actually use it up to 3 nights if you keep the rest of the products in the fridge.

________________________________

I actually wanted to get some lip glosses BUT I just couldn’t stand the smell of them! They smell very chemically. However, if you don’t mind the scent, there are various colour to choose.

Mascaras are also very interesting but I recently bought loads (I will do my mascara collection soon) so, I didn’t get any.

Overall I like all the products that I bought which is quite surprised me because I didn’t do any research or heard reviews about the before. I just felt like trying some of their products and they totally didn’t let me down and I would totally try some more and repurchase some of these products as well.

I hope this post will be helpful for any of you who wish to try something new. Thank you for reading through the end of this post and please feel free to kindly leave me comments.

Yes exactly! I really like the packaging. I think they look even better than some high end brands.
